Which size should I use for sleep vs. high-impact activity?Updated a day ago
Your Starter Kit comes with four of the six sizes we offer, so you can try more than one. Which size works best depends on what you're using Intake for.
For sleep or lower-impact activity (a moderate gym set, for instance) — choose your normal size, or even size up. The larger Bands are less convex, meaning they'll pull your nostrils open wider and allow greater airflow. The trade-off is that they also pull harder on the adhesive Tabs, so you may get less run time out of a Tab. You'll learn quickly whether your skin takes well to adhesive and you can use a larger size, or whether it prefers a size that's more "perfect" for your nose. If you'll only be using the Bands for sleep, start with a slightly larger size to make sure you have access to the most airflow.
For high-impact activity, or a sport that needs goggles or glasses — size down. A smaller Band creates less pull on the adhesive Tabs, making it more likely to stay put.
With sunglasses — there's no need to change size. Stick with whichever you find most comfortable.
Your mileage may vary, so try out multiple sizes from your Starter Kit to find the best fit for each activity.
