Shop Pay is an awesome feature that can make your checkout process a breeze. With Shop Pay, you can save your email address, shipping and billing information, and even your credit card details to check out in a snap. This can be a huge time saver for you, especially if you've already used Shop Pay on another Shopify store. You can pay in full right at checkout or split your purchase into multiple regular payments using Shop Pay Installments. Remember that installment options may vary depending on the store you're shopping at and are available for orders over $50, including discounts, shipping, and taxes.

It works the same way any online shopping platform does. Add items to your cart and checkout. Upon checkout, you can pay in installments or whole. If you pay in installments, your first payment will be paid in full at checkout. The remaining payments will be automatically charged to the card saved on Shop Pay based on your chosen payment plan. You'll receive a reminder email before being charged. 

What are the options to pay in Installments:

You have the option of Bi-weekly or monthly payments with 0% APR and no hidden or late fees.

What payment methods are accepted with installments:

If the items you purchase are interest-bearing, you may only pay with a debit card. If the items you buy are not interest-bearing, you may pay with a credit or debit card.

Can International customers pay using Shop Pay installments?

No. Customers with international billing addresses or phone numbers cannot use Shop Pay installments. 

Can I pre-qualify for a purchase amount before visiting a store? 

No. The application process for Shop Pay Installments at a live checkout. The process is a few steps, and you will receive an answer in only a few minutes.

Can I purchase gift cards with Shop Pay Installments?

No. If you want to use Shop Pay installments for purchase as well as purchase a gift card, you will need to place separate orders.

What if I miss a Shop Pay Installment payment?

No late fees exist, so you wouldn't need to worry about that. However, late payments or partial payments could affect your credit score. 

Can I return a purchase that I made with Shop Pay Installments?

If you're looking to get a refund for an item you bought with Shop Pay Installments, you'll need to reach out to the store where you made the purchase. They'll be able to let you know if it's possible to return the item based on their policy. If they do accept returns, they'll also let you know how much you can expect to receive in your refund. After your refund is processed, you can expect to see the amount credited back to your original payment method within 3-10 business days. We understand that this can be a frustrating experience, but we're here to help you through it.

If your refund is less than your total purchase balance, then it might not lower your next payment. Instead, you can expect fewer payments, a smaller final payment, or both. If your refund is more than your purchase balance, then the difference is returned to your original payment method within 3-10 business days.

If your order is made with interest payments, then the paid interest isn't refunded. When you make payments, the funds are first applied to the accrued unpaid interest and then to the principal. Interest is the cost of borrowing, and isn't refundable.
